We are very proud to announce that we have successfully completed a major balustrade project at The London Underwriting Centre.

The building boasts a huge atrium with escalators running from ground level all the way up to the top floor. The entire escalator system has glass balustrades running along both sides which creates a breathtaking yet practical feature. By employing us to replace a series of damaged balustrade panels, we were able to restore this to its former glory.

As the main contractor we replaced and installed 42 no. internal, 15mm Toughened glass balustrades, including a glass bend.

This project consisted of out of hours work involving glaziers, a cradle operative and an abseiler. By working to the clients requirements it meant that there was minimal disruption throughout and removed the danger to any pedestrians within the building.
